Andrea Bowen, an American actress. She started her career in Broadway musicals including Les Miserables as well as The Sound of Music. Julie Mayer is the main character in ABC's drama-comedy series Desperate Housewives. Julie played this role regularly from 2004 until 2008. Julie Alexandra Mayer's parents were Susan Delfino (mother) and Karl Mayer. Julie was Susan's favorite young girl. She was frequently thought of as her partner when it came to cooking and cleaning up for Susan. Julie even provided relationship advice to Susan.
